Summary

The purpose of this educational session is to convey various treatment methods which increase the intensity level of interventions for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). The goal is to provide pragmatic examples and clinical pearls that may be immediately implemented in the clinic. This presentation will highlight interventions for individuals with multiple sclerosis at minimal, moderate, or severe levels of disability. While this presentation will focus on individuals with MS, these treatment suggestions may be implemented across a wide spectrum of neurological diagnoses.

Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to:
Describe the benefit of increasing intensity level of interventions for individuals with MS.
Design an optimal treatment plan that aligns with current literature for individuals with MS at various EDSS levels.
Apply safety principles and specific patient considerations to intervention plan for individuals with MS.
Implement methods for progression and regression of interventions for individuals with MS.
