Summary

This course is designed to cultivate and encourage a deeper investigation and discussion of the PT-PTA team. We will explore current practices and trends in physical therapy environments that commonly employ PTs and PTAs. We will discuss how PTs and PTAs can pursue a greater engagement between the two professionals in the academic and clinical setting. This course is developed specifically for PTs, PTAs, student PTs and Student PTAs.

Upon completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:
• List three characteristics of an effective team.
• Identify two ways to develop professional attributes to foster a healthy PT-PTA team.
