OPTA's Payment Policy Specialist, Berni Willis, will discuss CMS Medicare 2026 updates, including deductibles, thresholds, and modifier requirements. She’ll also cover new 2026 Remote Therapy Monitoring procedures and billing CPT codes and the status of telehealth coverage and plan of care requirements. Other topics will include the reasons why more providers are providing out-of-network coverage and will ask “Are you compliant with the No Surprise Act?”

Ms. Willis will also share information on insurance resources and programs affecting other states, including Alabama, the District of Columbia, Indiana and Washington.
